ATTENTION Students "visiting" SBCC from the California Virtula Campus (CVC-OEI) who need prerequisite clearance: WELCOME! All prerequisite clearances are managed through the CVC and we are processing them as quickly as possible. If you were granted prerequisite clearance but still cannot register, then it is likely that the class is full. For more information please contact CVC directly.
If you took classes at another college, have AP scores or other prior learning experience, we can review your records to determine if they can count toward credit at SBCC.
This can:
- Count toward your SBCC degree
- Clear prerequisites for classes
- Help confirm transfer requirements CAL-GETC, IGETC, or CSU-GE
Note: Transcript evaluations are for students who have external coursework, not for students who have completed all of their coursework at SBCC.

*Exceptions: For early and late start courses, check the Class Schedule for important dates and deadlines - prerequisite clearance requests are accepted until the Friday before the class starts. However, we cannot guarantee that it will be processed in time for you to register.
